Spend time surrounded by nature, wander through nostalgic streets, visit neighborhood cafés and local izakayas, or simply enjoy doing nothing.

These are the moments that often become the most unforgettable memories of a journey.

Choose the stay that best matches your travel style.

Torch Stay Studio

Stay Inside a Creative Studio Surrounded by Nature

Located between the Inner and Outer Shrines of Ise Jingu, Torch Stay Studio is a peaceful retreat surrounded by more than 7,000 square meters of nature.

Wake up to birdsong instead of traffic.

Read a book among vintage furniture and plants, enjoy a quiet morning coffee in the garden, or simply listen to the sounds of the forest.

There is no television here.

Instead, you'll find space to slow down, breathe deeply, practice yoga, meditate, or simply enjoy the changing seasons.

Spring brings fresh greenery, summer is filled with deep forest colors, autumn paints the trees in warm reds and golds, and winter offers crisp, peaceful mornings.

Because of its quiet countryside location, we recommend arriving by car.

Torch Stay

Why Torch Stay?

The idea for Torch Stay began long before we opened our doors.

Our founder spent years traveling alone through 47 countries as a backpacker.

Along the way, it became clear that the most meaningful memories rarely came from famous tourist attractions.

They came from conversations with local people, quiet neighborhoods, unexpected discoveries, and moments that couldn't be planned.

That experience shaped the philosophy behind Torch Stay.

We hope to share the side of Ise that guidebooks often miss.

The neighborhood café where locals gather.

A tiny family-run izakaya.

A peaceful shrine without crowds.

Old streets where everyday life continues much as it always has.

To help you explore, we also share our exclusive Torch Local Map—a collection of our favorite restaurants, cafés, bars, public baths, scenic spots, and hidden places that we personally visit.

Because we love traveling ourselves, we only recommend places that we genuinely enjoy.

Torch Stay
