河合塾グループ、韓国EdTech企業 I Hate Flying Bugs Inc.と資本業務提携に向けたMOUを締結〜AIを活用した教育サービスを通じて、学習支援の充実と教育現場の業務効率化をめざす

河合塾グループの持株会社である株式会社KJホールディングス（本社：東京都新宿区、代表取締役社長：河合英樹）は、韓国のEdTech企業 I Hate Flying Bugs Inc.（本社：韓国ソウル、CEO：Chanyong Park、以下「IHFB」）と、資本業務提携に向けた共同検討に関するMOU（基本合意書）を2026年10月に締結しました。

本MOUに基づき、河合塾グループが培ってきた教育ノウハウやネットワークと、IHFBが有するAI技術・学習支援サービスを組み合わせ、教育現場での活用および両社の協業の可能性を検討してまいります。

■本MOU締結の背景と目的 

IHFBは、AIの活用と人によるきめ細かな学習支援を組み合わせたオンライン教育サービス「Mildang PT（ミルダンPT）」を韓国で展開するとともに、学校や学習塾などの教育機関向けに、教材制作・管理から授業運営、学習状況の把握・分析、個別の学習支援までを統合した教育プラットフォームを提供しています。同プラットフォームは、既存の問題をもとに難易度の異なる類似問題や解説を作成する「問題生成AI」や、生徒の手書き解答から解答過程の誤りやつまずきを分析し、診断レポートを作成する「MPD（Math Precision Diagnosis）」、対話型AIによる段階的な学習支援などの機能を備えており、オンライン・対面の双方の教育現場で活用されています。

本MOUを通じて、資本業務提携に向けた共同検討を進め、河合塾グループのネットワーク・教育ノウハウとIHFBのAI技術・サービスを組み合わせることで、学習者一人ひとりに応じた学習支援の充実と、教育現場における指導の質の向上・業務の効率化をめざしてまいります。

本MOUに基づき、IHFBのAI技術・サービスの河合塾グループでの導入・活用、ならびに資本提携の可能性について、共同で検討してまいります。

Kawaijuku Group and Korean EdTech Company I Hate Flying Bugs Inc. Sign MOU to Explore a Business and Capital Alliance

— Enhancing learning support and operational efficiency in education through AI-powered educational services —

KJ Holdings Inc. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Hideki Kawai), the holding company of the Kawaijuku Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in October 2026 with I Hate Flying Bugs Inc. (Head Office: Seoul, Republic of Korea; CEO: Chanyong Park; hereinafter “IHFB”), a Korean EdTech company, to jointly explore a business and capital alliance.

Under the MOU, the two companies will explore opportunities for collaboration and the application of IHFB’s services in educational settings by combining the Kawaijuku Group’s educational expertise and network with IHFB’s AI technologies and learning support services.

■Background and Purpose of the MOU

IHFB operates “Mildang PT,” an online education service in Korea that combines AI-powered learning tools with personalized support from human tutors. It also offers schools, learning centers, and other educational institutions an AI-powered education platform that integrates content creation and management, class operations, learning progress monitoring and analysis, and personalized learning support.

The platform includes “Question Generation AI,” which creates similar questions at varying difficulty levels, together with explanations, based on existing questions; “MPD (Math Precision Diagnosis),” which analyzes students’ handwritten solutions to identifies errors and gaps in reasoning and generates diagnostic reports; and conversational AI that provides step-by-step learning support. These functions are used in both online and in-person educational settings.

Through the MOU, the two companies will jointly explore a business and capital alliance, aiming to enhance learning support tailored to individual learners, improve instructional quality, and increase operational efficiency in educational settings by combining the Kawaijuku Group’s network and educational expertise with IHFB’s AI technologies and services.

Under the MOU, the two companies will jointly explore the adoption and use of IHFB’s AI technologies and services within the Kawaijuku Group, and the possibility of an equity investment.
