　お食い初めは、「一生食べるものに困らないように」との願いを込め、生後100日から120日頃に行われる日本の伝統的なお祝いです。また、「歯固め」や「箸初め」とも呼ばれ、お子様の健やかな成長と丈夫な歯が育つことを願う大切な節目として、古くから受け継がれています。

　本プランでは、尾頭付きの鯛やお赤飯、梅干しなど、縁起の良い食材を盛り込んだお食い初め膳をご用意するとともに、ご家族4名様分の懐石料理を、四季折々の旬の味覚を大切にした懐石料亭「花がすみ」にてご提供いたします。
落ち着いた個室で、ご家族だけのひとときをゆっくりとお過ごしいただけます。

　さらに、明治神宮内スタジオでのアニバーサリーフォト撮影もプランに含まれており、ご家族写真1ポーズ（六つ切サイズ1枚）をお渡しいたします。お子様の大切な成長の節目を、美しい思い出として形に残していただけます。伝統を大切に受け継ぐお祝いの席を、心を込めたおもてなしとともにお楽しみください。

　お祝いのお膳は、一汁三菜を基本に、海・山・里の幸を取り入れた縁起の良い献立をご用意しております。尾頭付きの鯛やお赤飯、長寿を願う梅干しなどを盛り込み、お子様の健やかな成長への願いを込めてお祝いします。また、歯固めの小石を用いた伝統的な儀式も行っていただけます。

【明治記念館について】

　明治記念館本館は、明治14（1881）年に「⾚坂仮皇居の御会⾷所」として、現在の迎賓館のある場所に竣工されました。明治21（1888）年には『⼤⽇本帝国憲法』草案審議の御前会議の場となり、明治天皇は欠かすことなくお出ましになられました。そのような由緒から、明治記念館本館は「憲法記念館」とも呼ばれています。
　現在の地に移築以降、憲法発布30周年記念式典や教育勅語渙発50周年記念式典、日本赤十字社や愛国婦人会の総会、済生会の記念行事など、国家的・社会的に重要な行事の場として活用されました。
　昭和22（1947）年に『明治記念館』の名称で総合結婚式場として開館式が挙行され、以来23万組を超えるご夫婦の新しい門出をお祝いしてきました。現在は結婚式にとどまらず、パーティ・会議などのMICE利用、祝賀会や人生儀礼などの記念日利用、レストランや懐石料亭でのお食事会など、多くの会場をさまざまな用途でご利用いただいています。
　令和2（2020）年には、本館の歴史的・建築的価値が認められ、東京都指定有形⽂化財（建造物）に指定されました。

[Meiji Kinenkan] Reservations Now Available for the "Okuizome Anniversary Plan" – Celebrate Your Child's Healthy Growth with a Private Family Ceremony, Traditional Okuizome Cuisine, and Commemorative Photography

Meiji Kinenkan (2-2-23 Motoakasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo) is now accepting reservations for its "Okuizome Anniversary Plan," a special package that allows families to celebrate Okuizome, one of Japan's most cherished traditional ceremonies held to pray for a child's healthy growth and lifelong happiness, in the comfort of a private dining room.

Okuizome (literally, "the first meal ceremony") is a traditional Japanese celebration held when a baby is approximately 100 to 120 days old. Although the infant is not yet able to eat solid food, family members symbolically offer the child a meal while expressing the wish that they will never go hungry throughout their life. The ceremony is also known as Hagatame ("to strengthen the teeth") or Hashizome ("first use of chopsticks"), as it marks an important milestone in a child's development and includes prayers for strong, healthy teeth and continued growth.

This special plan includes a beautifully prepared Okuizome ceremonial meal featuring auspicious ingredients such as whole grilled sea bream served with the head and tail intact, sekihan (red rice), and pickled plum, all of which symbolize good fortune, longevity, and prosperity. In addition, a seasonal kaiseki meal for four adults is served at Hanagasumi, Meiji Kinenkan's traditional Japanese kaiseki restaurant, where the finest seasonal ingredients are carefully prepared.

Guests may enjoy this important family occasion in the privacy of an elegant private dining room, creating a relaxed and memorable atmosphere for the celebration.

The plan also includes a professional Anniversary Photo Session at the studio located within Meiji Jingu, with one family portrait (approximately 20.3 × 25.4 cm / 8 × 10 inches) included. It is a wonderful opportunity to preserve this meaningful milestone with a lasting keepsake while celebrating a cherished Japanese tradition with heartfelt hospitality.

【About Meiji Kinenkan】

The Main Building of Meiji Kinenkan was completed in 1881 as the State Banquet Hall of the Akasaka Temporary Imperial Palace, originally located on the site of today’s State Guest House.
In 1888, the building served as the venue for the Imperial Conferences held to deliberate the draft of the Constitution of the Empire of Japan, which were attended without exception by Emperor Meiji.Owing to this distinguished history, the Main Building of Meiji Kinenkan is also known as the “Kenpo Kinenkan”.

Following its relocation, the Kenpo Kinenkan served as the venue for numerous nationally significant events, including the 30th anniversary of the promulgation of the Meiji Constitution, the 50th anniversary of the Imperial Rescript on Education, and assemblies of the Japanese Red Cross Society, the Patriotic Women's Association, and the Saiseikai Imperial Gift Foundation.

In 2020, the "Dining Hall for the Former Akasaka Temporary Palace (Main Building of the Meiji Kinenkan)" was designated a Tangible Cultural Property by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in recognition of its historical significance as a commemorative structure of the Meiji era and its distinguished architectural design.
